Dave began practicing commercial real estate in Colorado Springs in 1982 as an office specialist with Schuck/Grubb & Ellis. During 1987 and 1988 he was the Managing Development Partner for the Vantage Companies' Colorado Springs office. In 1989 Dave formed Sierra Properties, Inc., the region’s leading manager of institutionally-owned commercial properties. With a staff of thirty real estate professionals, Sierra Properties provides commercial real estate asset management services with respect to property management, accounting, maintenance, architectural design and construction management.

Dave has been responsible for over 6,000,000 square feet of leasing and has supervised over $250 million in construction management. In addition, Dave and his staff have assisted property owners in transacting over $300 million of investment property sales in the city.

Sierra Commercial Real Estate, Inc. became a Sierra Properties subsidiary company in June of 2003. Dave is a 1979 graduate of Colorado College and makes Colorado Springs his home with his daughters Emma and Katie.
